The Grupotel Maritimo is a modern, whitewashed hotel surrounded by gardens, 100 metres from beach and 10 kilometres from the medieval walled town of Alcudia. The 247 air-conditioned guestrooms feature colourful, modern decor with beech headboards and tiled floors. All include balconies or terraces, cable television, direct-dial phones, minibars and safes. Bathrooms have bidets, hair dryers and makeup mirrors. The half-board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The Grupotel Maritimo restaurant offers hot and cold buffets, including a range of both international and Mallorcan food, in relaxed surroundings. Guests can lounge by the two swimming pools, with a separate children's pool, and relax in the hot tub, sauna and Turkish bath. Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor; typical fare to the hotel is 80 EUR. Bus no. 17 leaves the airport every 20 minutes, running to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca. There is a bus stop in front of the multi-storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and there is a bus stop outside the Check-in floor.
Driving directions: From the airport take MA-19 toward Palma. Take exit Three to Andratx/Port d'Alcudia. After three kilometres take exit 3B towards Inca and Port d'Alcudia. Continue for 50 kilometres, and at the roundabout take the first exit. Continue along C-712, and the hotel will be on the right.
