Hotel Description

The Hotel Astoria Playa is a white, resort-style hotel situated on the bay of Alcudia on the northwestern coast of Mallorca, 100 metres from the beach. The hotel's 186 air-conditioned guestrooms have modern decor in white with dark wood furnishings and deep blue carpets and fabrics. All guestrooms open onto balconies or terraces with views of either the garden or swimming pool and include safes and telephones.
Drinks and a wide selection of cocktails are available at the bar, which is bright and airy and has a reading lounge with satellite television. Guests can relax on a sun bed by the palm-fringed outdoor pool, or enjoy live music and cabaret on the terrace. Majorcan and international dishes are served buffet style at breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, which has modern decor and hosts weekly Gala dinners. The Rincon Restaurant is a snack bar offering regional and national dishes and exotic cocktails. Set in the garden area the restaurant has rustic-style decor. Nearby attractions include the sporting marina, one and a half kilometres away, and the old town, three kilometres away. Palma Son San Juan Airport is 60 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
